[email protected]Arnold Hoong advises multinational clients on a range of complex cross-border disputes. He is part of the Herbert Smith Freehills’ disputes team with a focus on the construction, energy, and infrastructure practice. Mr Hoong has experience dealing with various types of complex international projects from high-rise towers and large commercial developments, to power plants and oil refineries.
Mr Hoong’s practice combines advisory and international arbitration, wherein he has experience in arbitrations under various institutional rules (including UNCITRAL, ICC and AIAC) as well as ad hoc arbitrations. He also has prior experience with litigation under the Malaysian courts on a broad range of disputes, including commercial and contractual disputes, shareholder disputes and contentious insolvency proceedings.
