Bruno Hardy is a partner in the international arbitration practice and acts as counsel, primarily in the areas of engineering, energy, construction, corporate/ M&A and commercial contracts disputes.
He has represented clients in arbitration proceedings subject to the laws of England and Wales, Switzerland, Lebanon, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Algeria, Greece and Belgium, among others, and under various institutions and rules, including ICC, LCIA, SIAC, ICSID, CEPANI, LAC and UNCITRAL rules.
Bruno is especially competent in complex technical issues. He has acted for clients in disputes involving IT engineering, geotechnical and hydraulic engineering, as well as fraud analysis and regulatory issues in the pharmaceutical industry. In the construction industry, he often represents clients in disputes relating to large infrastructure projects with delay and disruption claims, with particular experience in the Middle East and Africa.
In addition to his international arbitration work, Bruno assists clients in arbitration-related court proceedings. He has acted for and against investors, sovereign states and international organisations in enforcement and settingaside proceedings, raising novel questions of international law and arbitration.
Bruno has been recognized in WWL Arbitration – Future Leaders (2024) and in the Legal 500 Arbitration Powerlist (EMEA). He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
