Carlos Arias Suárez was technical secretary of the Commission for the Reform of the Constitutional Procedural Code in the Congress of the Republic (2020–2021), and legal assistant to the Office of the Vice President of the Constitutional Court (2019). He also served as a litigation and disputes associate at the Muñiz Law Firm (2021–2023). In 2024, he joined the Benites, Vargas & Ugaz Law Firm as a litigation and disputes associate. He is an adjunct professor at the PUCP Faculty of Law and the author of various publications in national and international journals on constitutional, civil and arbitration law. He has been a professor at the School of Training of Jurisdictional Assistants of the Judiciary and a speaker at national events on Constitutional Law and Constitutional Procedure.
