DIFC court upholds billion-dollar award in Iraqi bribery dispute

DECISION NOW PUBLIC: A court in the Dubai International Financial Centre has upheld an ICC award worth US$1.6 billion that found a prominent Iraqi businessman had conspired to bribe public officials – dismissing arguments that the tribunal relied on unlawfully procured evidence.
