Georgia Quick is an international arbitration partner in Ashurst’s Sydney office. She specialises in assisting clients with construction and energy-related disputes. She is dual qualified in Australia (NSW) and England and Wales, having been based in London for seven years. She has been a partner for 13 years and is head of Ashurst’s Australian international arbitration practice.
Georgia is listed in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration and as a Leading Individual for arbitration in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021 (where she is described as hard working, technically brilliant, very responsive and a pleasure to work with), among other directory rankings. In 2021, Georgia was elected as president of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA), reflecting her standing in the market. She is generally retained for large-scale and technically complex disputes and has a particular focus on renewables and infrastructure disputes.
