Héctor E Infante is a distinguished lawyer with over 33 years of experience, known for his solid legal knowledge, skilled negotiation techniques and deep sectoral expertise. He is a founding partner of Infante & Pérez Almillano (IPAL) and has earned recognition for his innovative vision in the legal sector.

Mr Infante is highly regarded in the fields of banking law, commercial law and conflict resolution. His extensive experience includes representing high-profile cases in the Republic of Panama and advising various political figures, including five former presidents of the region.

Throughout his career, he has been an active member of the Panama Bar Association of Panama, serving multiple times on its board of directors. He is also a former president and permanent adviser of the Trade Union Lawyers Movement and has represented prestigious law firms in the United States and Europe.

In addition to his legal practice, Héctor has been a member of the boards of several national and transnational companies, including insurance companies and banks. He has served as an adviser to numerous national and international banking institutions and is the president of the Association of Graduates of the Faculty of Law of the University of Panama.

Mr Infante holds a bachelor’s degree in law and political sciences from the University of Panama (1984). He is a member of several professional organisations, including the National Bar Association, the Interamerican Federation of Lawyers, the Official Spanish Chamber of Panama, the Panamanian Chamber of Construction, and the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama.
