India loses Singapore appeal over satellite award

Singapore’s Court of Appeal has upheld the enforcement of a US$140 million investment treaty award against India over a cancelled satellite deal, finding the state was precluded from relitigating issues that have already been determined by the courts at the seat of the arbitration.
