Indian Chief Justice notes shift from appointment of former judges

Speaking at a conference to mark milestone anniversaries of the Supreme Court of India and the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Chief Justice of India highlighted recent strides the country has made towards developing a strong culture of international arbitration, including moving away from the tradition of appointing retired judges as arbitrators.
