James Morrison is a counsel at the Secretariat of the International Court of Arbitration. He heads the case management team that principally handles cases involving Asia and the Pacific region.Mr Morrison is an Australian citizen. He is a graduate of the University of Sydney, where he studied Economics and Law. He also holds a Masters in International Commercial Arbitration Law from the University of Stockholm in Sweden. Mr Morrison carried out his professional training in Australia and is admitted as a solicitor in the State of New South Wales. Before moving to Europe, he worked in the litigation and dispute resolution department of an international law firm in Sydney. Mr Morrison has also represented the ICC as an observer at the UNCITRAL working group on the revision of the UNCITRAL Rules.
