Having led more than 200 engagements with values of up to €170 billion and involving entities from 53 countries, he has successfully advised clients for more than two decades. Several of Kai’s engagements have involved the telecommunications industry. Kai has been identified in Who’s Who Legal: Commercial Arbitration since 2015 as a ‘Most Highly Regarded Individual’ or ‘Global Elite Thought Leader’ in its listings of the leading expert witnesses active in international arbitration. Kai has testified more than 40 times before commercial and investment treaty tribunals as well as courts. Kai is a CPA and holds an MBA, having studied at the HEC Paris School of Management and The Wharton School. Kai is also a CFA charterholder.
