Mehmet Karlı is a partner at Kabine Law Office. Dr Karlı focuses his practice on disputes and complex international transactions in various sectors, including construction, energy, telecommunications, and banking and finance. He has represented and advised a wide range of clients, including sovereigns, multinational corporations and high net worth individuals, before local courts, ICSID, ICC, ISTAC, UNCITRAL, SCIA, LCIA arbitral tribunals and the European Court of Human Rights, and in their complex transactions. He is a member of the ICC Court for a three-year term. He is also an ex officio member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. His practice also covers the representation of clients in the prosecution process of white-collar crimes both in Turkey and other jurisdictions, and corporate and personal wealth restructurings.

Dr Karlı served as an assistant professor of international law at the Faculty of Law, University of Galatasaray. He has been a visiting fellow at the European Studies Centre and was a research associate at the Centre for International Studies of the University of Oxford.
