The Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre has announced that it is to retain its current offices and top ranked hearing premises notwithstanding the establishment by the Hong King government of an international legal hub elsewhere – and plans to provide free hearing space for parties to cases involving developing states.

Ten years after a reform of the Italian law doubled the grounds for challenging arbitral awards set out in the UNCITRAL Model Law, a researcher at Bocconi School of Law in Milan has found that Italian judges tend to uphold awards regardless.
