[email protected]Omar Colomé is a senior associate at Asali. He joined the firm in 2014. He specialises in complex litigation in maritime, corporate, financial, telecommunications and insurance matters. Omar has represented clients before state courts and arbitral tribunals under ICC, LCIA and CANACO rules. He also advises foreign investors in investor-state disputes against Mexico. Omar holds a degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City and an LLM from the University of Chicago. He is admitted to the New York Bar, and he worked at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in New York in 2018. Fluent in Spanish and English, he has authored several papers on Mexican corporate law and dispute resolution, and he previously edited Pandecta. His practice is recognised in Benchmark Litigation.
