Ontario appeal court overturns ruling on arbitrator bias

The Ontario Court of Appeal has reinstated an award in an espresso bar franchise dispute that had been set aside because of the sole arbitrator’s failure to disclose his appointment in unrelated proceedings by the claimant’s counsel.
