Özgecan Korkmaz is a partner at Kabine Law Office. Ms Korkmaz focuses her practice on commercial and post-M&A disputes related to various sectors including construction, media and telecommunications, banking and payment systems and industrial manufacturing. She has represented and advised a wide range of clients, including business conglomerates, multinational corporations and high net-worth individuals before local courts, ICC, ISTAC, SCIA, LCIA arbitral tribunals and ECHR. As part of her practice, she also provides advice for private and public companies on complex corporate restructuring as well as international compliance matters.
Ms Korkmaz was the ICC YAAF representative for Turkey for the 2021–2024 term. She is currently a board member of Galatasaraylılar Solidarity Foundation (Galatasaraylılar Yardımlaşma Vakfı) and served as a board member of Galatasaray Alumni Association (Galatasaraylılar Derneği) between 2017–2019.
Her book titled Amerikan Hukuku ile Karşılaştırmalı Paya Dayalı Kitle Fonlaması (Equity Crowdfunding in comparison with American Law) was published in Turkish in December 2020.
