Rio Tinto subsidiary brings tax claim against Mongolia

A subsidiary of Anglo-Australian mining group Rio Tinto has made good on a threatened contractual claim against Mongolia, saying it was wrongly handed a US$155 million tax bill for its operations at one of the world’s largest copper and gold mines.
