Russia will represent itself in Canadian Yukos action

Russia has said it intends to represent itself in a Canadian set-aside proceeding relating to a US$700 million Energy Charter Treaty dispute over the collapse of Yukos following the withdrawal of its local counsel – as GAR confirms the law firm defending the state in the arbitration has also withdrawn.
