Simon Greenberg is a partner in the international arbitration group in Paris and co-head of the firm’s global mining and metals practice group. He acts as counsel representing parties and as arbitrator in international arbitrations, with a particular focus on mining and metals, energy, technology and aviation. He also provides transactional advice to mining and metals clients.

Before joining Clifford Chance in early 2012, Simon spent four years as Deputy Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (Paris), having previously practiced with leading international dispute resolution teams in Paris and Australia. Simon co-authored the first and only official ICC commentary on the ICC Rules of Arbitration, released in 2012 and was intimately involved in the drafting of the 2012 ICC Rules of Arbitration. He has also co-authored International Commercial Arbitration: An Asia Pacific Perspective (Cambridge, 2010).
