Third win for Azerbaijan’s state oil company

Azerbaijan’s national oil company has won damages in a third arbitration against a Turkish shipping group and its founder, bringing its total compensation in the cases to over US$240 million – after again defeating allegations that the parties had verbally agreed to form a joint venture.
