Venture capital firm enforces HKIAC award in California 

A California court has confirmed an HKIAC award worth more than US$44 million in favour of a venture capital firm that financed a real estate project in Shanghai, finding no unfairness in the tribunal’s refusal to give any weight to witness statements on which the respondent had refused to be cross-examined.
